Why ISSCEI?

ISSCEI

The International Conference on Smart Cities for ASEAN: Experience and Innovation (ISSCEI 2024) will take place on Nov 7-8, 2024 at the University of Danang, 41 Le Duan, Hai Chau , Da Nang City , Vietnam. This is a science and technology forum that brings together managers, businesses and researchers to discuss smart city challenges in the ASEAN context and identify possible technological advances. Apply and strengthen sustainable solutions. The conference brings together representatives from cities, community organizations, industry and experts and researchers from universities. People with expertise and insight into real-world challenges (e.g., city administrators) or those who are deeply interested in innovative solutions (e.g., entrepreneurs and researchers) are given a special welcome.

SCAPA

This year ISSCEI also includes an international competition - Smart Campus Campaign Asia Pacific as a technical showcase for innovative solutions for smart city towards smart city from student teams from universities in Asia Pacific. More information about SCAPA: here.

Themes

The ISSCEI 2024 conference with sharings and discussions aims to:

Objective 1: Connect and exchange solutions from academic to applied with the participation of leading domestic and foreign scientists, experts, and speakers in each field related to innovative technologies, economic and educational solutions for sustainable smart city development, based on connecting interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary knowledge to solve problems in contemporary society. The technical sharings will be presented at the Technical sessions -
- Technical session 1: "4.0 technologies for sustainable Development", at The University of Danang - University of Science and Technology.
- Technical session 2: "Sustainable Commercial Economics and Economic Laws", at The University of Danang - University of Economics.
Objective 2: Promote and encourage innovative solutions for smart universities, towards smart cities for sustainable development from students of domestic and international universities. The student posters with oral presentations will be presented at Competition SCAPA 2024.

Besides, sustainable university models, sustainability pillars, and standards, as well as opportunities and challenges that universities face in the context of currently will also be presented at the Plenary Session.
